College in the Schools is a NACEP-accredited concurrent enrollment program serving high school students, teachers, and schools by increasing access to college learning, supporting excellence in teaching, and strengthening high school-University connections.

Is accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). This accreditation means that CIS has met or exceeded the NACEP national standards which guarantee students and teachers curricula, assessment, and evaluation methods in keeping with postsecondary rigor.

Ensures that all CIS classes use the same texts, pedagogy, and methods of assessment as are used on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus.
