Offering more than 80 individual courses and 12 certificates, CCAPS offers numerous flexible workforce development and business solutions to meet your management or employee training and upskilling needs.

Are discounts available for professional development? 

Yes. For noncredit professional development, there is a 10% discount for four or more people registering and paying for a program, as well as a 15% discount for one or more people registering and paying for a full certificate all at once.

Will you do a needs assessment?

Yes. We'll work with you to identify your organization's skills gaps and needs as part of the assessment.

Can we design our own professional development plan?

Yes. You and the business development representative will develop a plan that suits the needs of your organization.

Can you customize a program for us?

We can tailor courses in our catalog to fit the needs of your organization.

How do employees register for courses or certificate programs? 

As part of the assessment, we'll decide together how to get your employees registered in the way that works best for your organization.

How much does it cost?

Cost depends on the plan your organization chooses. You'll receive a proposal with a clearly outlined cost structure as part of your assessment.

How does my organization pay for courses or certificate programs? 

Your organization can pay with a credit card at the time of registration, or receive an invoice to be paid by bank transfer or credit card at a later date.

Is training offered online or in person?

Open sessions (available to anyone) are usually offered online. However, a few courses take place on the U of M campus in Saint Paul. There's also an option to hold classes on site at your organization.

Who are your trainers? What are their qualifications?

Our instructors are industry professionals. They often have decades of working experience in the area they are teaching and share real-world case studies as part of their curriculum.

What successes have you had in the past with training an organization like mine?

We've had success with small, medium, and large organizations in the private, government, and nonprofit sectors. This article recounts the experiences of two Minnesota state agencies.
