Transfers and Cancellations

Transfers
If necessary, you may transfer your registration from one workshop to another. If the cost of your new workshop is more than the cost of the old, you must pay any monetary difference in order to guarantee your place in the new workshop. If you charged your original registration, Split Rock will automatically charge any difference due to your credit card. If the cost of the new workshop is less than the cost of the old, we will refund or credit your charge account with the difference.

Withdrawals
If you need to withdraw from a Split Rock workshop and/or cancel your housing reservation, you may do so via:

If your notice of withdrawal is received at least four full working weeks before the start of your workshop, you will receive a refund or charge account credit of 90 percent of your workshop total (tuition plus special fee, if any), and a 100-percent refund or charge account credit of any housing payment. There is no refund or charge account credit of the $40 registration fee.

If your notice of withdrawal is received less than four full working weeks before the start of your workshop, there is no refund or charge account credit of your workshop total (tuition plus special fee, if any) and no refund or charge account credit of any housing payment. There is no refund or charge account credit of the $40 registration fee.

Example: For Split Rock Shorts, which begin June 15, withdrawal notification must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. (CDT) Friday, May 16, for a 90-percent workshop and 100-percent housing refund. If withdrawal notification is received on or after May 17, there is no workshop or housing refund.

Example: For weeklong workshops that begin June 22, withdrawal notification must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. (CDT) on Friday, May 23, for a 90-percent workshop and 100-percent housing refund. If withdrawl notification is received on or after May 24, there is no workshop or housing refund.

Parking Contract Cancellations
Any parking contract cancellation that is received more than four full working weeks before the start of your workshop, will receive a 100-percent refund or charge account credit of any parking payment.

If your notice of a parking contract cancellation is received less than four full working weeks before the start of your workshop, there is no refund or charge account credit of your parking payment.

Cancellations
All Split Rock workshops must meet a minimum enrollment established by the program in order to be held. If the Split Rock Arts Program must cancel a workshop because of insufficient enrollment, registrants will receive a full refund or charge account credit.
