The University of Minnesota is proud to host the 15th Biennial Conference of the Molecular and Cellular Biology of the Soybean in Minnesota for first time! The Soy2014 conference will be held on the Minneapolis (east bank) campus of the University of Minnesota. Sessions will be held at the McNamara Alumni Center, an architecturally stunning facility designed to highlight the natural beauty of Minnesota, TCF Stadium, the newest stadium in the Big Ten, and The Commons Hotel, situated close to both McNamara and TCF Stadium. Centrally located, the meetings are within easy access of attractions in both St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Registration is now open for this conference. All registered participants are invited to submit a poster abstract. Posters will be exhibited throughout the meetings and the poster sessions. As in years past, organizers will be selecting a few outstanding poster abstracts from graduate students and post-docs to invite as oral presentations. To be considered for a poster presentation please have your poster abstract submitted by May 1, 2014.

We hope the program for the Soy2014 meetings will highlight the cutting-edge research by members of the soybean research community working on a variety of topics including translational genomics, functional genomics, abiotic stress, pests, diseases, genome structure and evolution.

We’d like to thank our sponsors. Without their generous support, these meetings would not be possible.

See you soon!
