Supporting Scholarships
Scholarship List
College of Continuing Education students juggle family, work, and other responsibilities outside the classroom. While they have the drive, talent, and desire to succeed, their financial situation can hold them back. Your scholarship gift will make a difference.
The Nolte-Miller Scholarship, named for two prominent leaders at the University of Minnesota, is a comprehensive scholarship fund at the College. We encourage you to give to the Nolte-Miller Scholarship and make an investment in our learners' future. Just follow the "Make a Gift" link to the left to give online.

Gena McElwain View testimonial: T1/Cable/DSL | 56K Modem
Gena describes herself as "the proud owner of a bachelor's degree" from the College's Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program. She began her BAS degree after receiving an AAS in marketing from Normandale Community College and gaining over a decade of experience in retail management. After entering the BAS program, Gena endured a nightmare schedule to make ends meet. She took night classes, worked all night supervising shelf stockers, and cleaned houses during the day. Gena says that her scholarship award allowed her to live a normal life and "made me feel worthy and self-confident."
