Full-time students must be enrolled in either 4 or 5 courses, depending upon level.

*Exceptions: ESL 121 (Beginning Reading/Composition), ESL 0181 (Beginning Integrated English), ESL 421 (Intermediate Reading/Composition), and ESL 431 (Intermediate Oral Skills) cost $2,050.00 each.  ESL 601 (TOEFL Preparation) costs $575.00.  

**Medical insurance through the University of Minnesota is available for Intensive English Program participants on F and J visas only.  Insurance cost listed is for student coverage only and does not include coverage for spouse or dependents.

Medical Insurance and Living Expenses figures are estimates based upon 2007-08 information and may vary as much as 10%.
