Welcome to the Minnesota Intensive English Program

Greetings from the Minnesota Intensive English Program at the University of Minnesota. As part of one of the finest academic institutions in the United States, we are proud to offer you a rigorous and academically focused curriculum designed to help you succeed in accomplishing your academic, professional, or personal goals. Courses combine intensive language skills development with experiential learning outside the classroom and the effective use of advanced computer technology.

The University of Minnesota began offering English as a Second Language courses and programs in 1968.
