How Do I Register?
One Stop, the main source for all registration and financial aid information, is your most accurate source for up-to-date information on what is being offered that term, course times, locations, etc. Always check course information on the One Stop if you use a paper catalog to select courses.

- For Spring 2008 term: Non-admitted students can register any time on or after November 30, 2007
- For Summer 2008 term: Non-admitted students can register any time on or after April 15, 2008
- For Fall 2008 term: Non-admitted students can register any time on or after May 2, 2008
2. HOW TO REGISTER
Your registration history at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus determines how you register (i.e., online, mail, fax, in person):

If this is your first time registering , register by:

If you have registered during the previous Fall or Spring terms, register by:
- One Stop (Web registration)

If you have NOT registered during the previous Fall and Spring terms, register by:

- For a complete list of courses, go to the Class Schedule on One Stop.
- To see if a course is still open, check the Section Status Report.
- If only a few seats are available, and you are using the email or paper Registration And Cancel/Add Form, consider selecting and listing an alternative course on the form. (The Registration Request for Graduate Credit for Non-Degree Students form does not have an option for alternative courses.)
- If the course you want is closed, contact the department offering the course to explore options for gaining permission to register for a closed course.
- Pay attention to prerequisites and the course level. See "What About Prerequisites?" in the previous section, "How Do I Choose a Course?".
- If consent (permission) is required to register for a course, contact the instructor or department offering the course for specific information and procedures.
- When you have decided on a course, fill out the e-mail form or download, print, and fill out the appropriate paper form:
IF YOU ARE AN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT (admitted or non-admitted) or formally admitted to a graduate program, use the e-mail or paper Registration And Cancel/Add Form.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE GRADUATE-LEVEL CREDIT but are NOT ADMITTED to a graduate program , use the Registration Request for Graduate Credit for Non-Degree Students form.
PLEASE NOTE: Department or instructor approval is required to take a course for graduate credit. Complete instructions for receiving graduate credit as a non-degree student are available in the Earning Graduate Credit as a Non-Degree Student Brochure.

5. BILLING FOR TUITION AND FEES
