PIL Degree Planning

"I was very confused at the beginning but the degree planning process was of tremendous value to me.  It gave me a better understanding of the Program for Individualized Learning and how to reach my goal." - PIL Student

In consultation with University staff, you will develop your own curriculum for either a B.A. or a B.S. degree.  You will identify an area of concentration that will guide the direction of your degree and then design a structured plan.  The resulting document, a degree plan, serves as a blueprint for the entire degree program.  In the plan, you will make distinctions between academic objectives and vocational/professional goals.  The degree plan typically contains a mix of courses, individualized learning projects, and relevant prior learning experiences.  You will develop your degree plan in the Degree Planning Seminar (PIL 3211).

PIL 3211 - Degree Planning Seminar
