Getting Started in the Program for Individualized Learning (PIL)
To be considered for admission, please:
1. Attend an information session.

2. Identify an interdisciplinary or specialized area of study.
3. After attending a PIL information session, complete an application form and send it along with up-to-date college transcripts to CCE-Program for Individualized Learning, University of Minnesota, 20 Classroom Office Building, 1994 Buford Avenue, St Paul, MN 55108-6039
Before admission to PIL, you should have completed a minimum of 30 semester credits (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. PIL accepts applications and admits students for the fall and spring semesters. Deadline for fall PIL admission is June 1. Deadline for spring PIL admission is October 15. Rough draft applications are due one month before each admission deadline.
