Radiation Therapy Major

Earning the BAS Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree with a major in Radiation Therapy (RT) offers certified Radiation Therapists an opportunity to enhance their credentials for advancement to professional management and dosimetry roles. The University of Minnesota BAS RT degree is offered in partnership with University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview (UMMC,F), Minneapolis, and also with the Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS), Rochester.

Students interested in applying for admission to an RT major must first be admitted to the RT certificate program at either UMMC,F, or the MSHS.  RT clinical courses are taken at the chosen program’s location.
