Planning for Completion

Information Technology Infrastructure

Lecture/lab courses are offered in the evenings on the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus or at North Hennepin Community College. Many of the required business courses are offered online through CCE's Independent and Distance Learning. The length of time necessary to complete the degree requirements depends on how many courses you enroll in per term, as well as the number of credits you can transfer to the program. Courses are usually two to four credits; the average part-time student enrolls in two to three courses per term. When you plan your course schedule, take careful note of the sequencing involved in the prerequisites for the lower division and major required courses.  When building your schedule, you must also consider the semesters the courses are offered. The ITI Planning Guide and ITI Tentative Course Schedule will help you in this process. Contact an ITI academic adviser for assistance: CCEinfo@umn.edu or 612-624-4000. Before registering, check the University of Minnesota's One Stop system for up-to-date course information including times, days, and locations.
