Some students may not discover the BAS degree until later in their academic life. Perhaps you may have attended a local community college or another college within the U of M. For information about course credits from these programs that will transfer into the BAS program, see the Construction Management Transfer Guide.
If this is your situation, and you want to have your previous course work evaluated for possible transfer to the BAS degree program, send the following information to the address below:
- a completed planning chart request;
- your academic transcript(s) (unofficial transcripts at this point are acceptable); and
- your resume or work history (optional).

We will return a planning chart to you indicating which course requirements you have met and which ones remain to be completed. After reviewing your planning chart, if you feel that we omitted or should have included a course to meet a specific requirement, contact an academic adviser at CCEinfo@umn.edu or 612-624-4000.
While you will not be granted college credit for work experience, we may be able to waive one or more course requirements. However, you will still need to complete 120 semester credits to earn your BAS degree.
Vocational-technical college or U.S. military credits are generally not transferable for University of Minnesota degree credit requirements. However, we may be able to waive some course requirements. You can then use other elective credits to complete the 120 semester credit requirements necessary to earn your BAS degree.
