Rediscover how much fun learning can be!

Do you need a summer vacation but can’t get away? Are you naturally inquisitive and eager to learn new things? Then Curiosity Camp is right for you.

Treat yourself to a day of productive play at these unique summer day camps for adults, where each adventure will engage your mind and refresh your spirit. University and community experts will help you see an intriguing topic or favorite place in a whole new light by taking you out and about, behind the scenes, or away from it all.

Unless otherwise indicated, Camp check-in and continental breakfast is 9:00-9:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9:30 a.m. Most Camps begin the day at the Continuing Education and Conference Center, conveniently located on the University's relaxing St. Paul campus. Parking for the conference center is available in a nearby surface lot or ramp for a fee. Meals and refreshments are included, as well as transportation to and from Curiosity Camp destinations.

Though exact schedules vary, most Camps begin with lively lectures and discussions that will set the stage for the day's adventure. Then it's off to...wherever! The choice is yours. Depending on the topic at hand, some Camps are structured as daylong retreats.

Why not start planning your vacation days now? The preview below shows our tempting topics, along with dates. With Camps scheduled from June through August, you can attend a Camp each summer month, or create your own trio of Camps in areas about which you're especially curious.
