Billing and Payment

General InformationBilling and Payment | Academic Policies

Non-degree-seeking students are required to pay tuition and fees in full by the first billing due date of the term.  Payments must be received, not postmarked, by the billing due date or registration will be cancelled.

NOTE:  Depending on when non-degree students register for Extended-term Independent and Distance Learning (IDL) courses, they will be billed and payment is due in full by the next scheduled due date.  See "Billing and Due Dates" for specific billing and payment due dates by semester.

You will not receive a bill, but you may make electronic payments from checking or savings accounts. To determine your amount due, use the self-service Quick Link, "Student Account" on the One Stop home page. To make an electronic payment, select "UM Pay" under Quick Links. Sign in using your University Internet ID and password.  (NOTE: If you are a first time user, go to Student Internet Account Initiation to activate your access.) Tuition and fee charges will appear in your student account two days after your registration.

You may also make payments by U.S. Postal Service, in a campus drop box, or in person at a Bursar Office campus location. Guidelines on these payment methods are available at "Where, When, and How to Pay."

If you have questions about paying your tuition and fees, One Stop counselors are available by e-mail, phone, or in person. For more information, go to One Stop Services.
