Getting the Word Out

Our experienced staff will:

  • Determine the best marketing strategy and the most effective ways to promote your program – including brochures, postcards, calls for presentations, e-mail blasts, Web sites, and more.
  • Develop a timeline for the strategies included in the promotion of your event, and closely monitor the results to ensure the event meets its target attendance goals.
  • Create a distinctive brand for your event. Solid copy, creative logos, and eye-catching graphics will ensure that your audience recognizes each promotional piece as specific to your event.
  • Develop and manage mailing lists and databases and coordinate mailing services.
  • Coordinate the collection, reproduction, and distribution of materials, including handouts, final programs, abstract books, proceedings, and CDs.
  • Serve as the point of contact for potential attendees. We develop an  understanding of your event so we can provide clear and specific information to people who call or e-mail with questions.
  • Design and manage the event Web site, including Web-based registration. Pages can include your conference and sponsor logos, a unique Web address (URL), and a link to online registration.

We will work with you to design a Web presence that meets your needs. Some of our options include:

Single standardized Web page (for online registration). A single page on the Web site of the College of Continuing Education. The page contains a link to online registration and a limited description of the program.

Single customizable Web page. Features a personalized page header with the program name. Content includes logos, course descriptions, PDF documents, a link to online registration, and additional links and enhancements, as necessary.

Multiple-page Web site. Included are navigation links and a personalized page header with the conference name. The pages may also contain logos, links to online registration, course descriptions, and content information.
