Continuing Education Credit
What to do after I pass the assessment quiz
Each module is assigned contact hour credit based on the content and assigned readings.
Following the successful completion of learning module assessment quiz, return to the Home Page for the module where a Certificate of Completion link will appear. On the Certificate of Completion page, select either the certificate for American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or Minnesota Board of Nursing (MN BON) credit. In the PDF that opens, type your name and the date of completion into the fields on the certificate. Print the certificate for your records using the Print button at the top of the form.
Note: If you need a generic certificate of completion for your professional organization, select the Minnesota Board of Nursing (MN BON) certificate to print for your records.
Accreditation and Contact Hours
All modules are designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing requirements for continuing education. Please check with your State Board of Nursing to insure it fulfills yours. It is the responsibility of each participant to determine if the program meets the criteria for licensure or recertification for their discipline.

Contact hours are calculated based on module review, assessments, exercises and required readings. Readings are calculated via words per page with an estimated time formula. Each text is different.
Joint Commission Resources (JCR)is a not-for-profit affiliate of The Joint Commission and is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Joint Commission Resources designates each continuing nursing education activity individually for contact hours. The hours are denoted on the registration page and on the course description page.
