Presenter Information

Information for Conference Presenters

Presenter Instructions

Conference participants intending to present either a talk or a poster at Evolution 2008 will be required to register for the conference and submit details of their intended presentation with their registration. The deadline for submission of presentation titles is April 1, 2008.

Please note that presenters will be limited to one presentation, due to the large number of presenters accepted in the program.

For all general presentations (oral or poster), presenters will be asked to select their preferences of the session topic relevant to the subject matter of their presentation – see the list of topics below. These options will be displayed as a drop-down menu on the registration site.

Those making presentations as part of a symposium or special session are also  required to register and submit the title of their presentation.

Oral Presentation Details

Contributed presentations will have 15 minutes, which includes discussion and Q & A time.

Every conference room will have a computer projector and a PC laptop with Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003. Presenters are required to bring their presentation on a flash drive or a CD ROM. Presenters will load their presentation on the session laptops at the conference break before their session (or earlier if possible).

A presenter preparation room will be available to test or run-through your presentation.
