Travel You may fly directly to Minneapolis / St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Please contact your local travel agency for airline reservations.
For transportation from the airport to your hotel, or to the University of Minnesota campus, contact SuperShuttle to make a reservation or visit their customer service desk in the baggage claim area upon arrival. You can also take a taxi from the airport. The fare will cost about $30 per trip.
Hotel Accommodations Rooms have been reserved at the following hotels on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
Radisson University Hotel 615 Washington Avenue S.E. Minneapolis, Minnesota 800-822-6757 Ask for group: EM08 The room rate is $119 for single or double occupancy. Rooms will be held until May 2, 2008. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a space and rate available basis. Parking is available on a first arrive, first serve basis, in the parking lot located behind the hotel. A daily parking fee, currently at $9.50 per day, per vehicle, applies which includes "in and out" privileges to registered guests. Additional parking is available in the Washington Avenue Ramp that is connected to the hotel by an enclosed walkway. Current charges are $2.50 per hour, $12 maximum daily charge.
Days Inn University Hotel - This hotel is sold out. 2407 University Avenue S.E. Minneapolis, Minnesota 612-623-9303 Ask for Group: EM08 The room rate is $79 for single or double occupancy. Rooms will be held until April 18, 2008. Reserve your room online at the link above. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a space and rate available basis. Parking is free for hotel guests.
Conference Location All conference sessions will take place on the University of Minnesota campus. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to experience campus life and learn more about the University of Minnesota while visiting the Twin Cities.
