College in the Schools - Course Offerings

College in the Schools offers 31 introductory courses from five curriculum areas — Agricultural Education, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and World and Classical Languages. CIS is accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships and follows national standards that ensure quality and rigor. All courses are approved for University degree credit.

In 2006-07, CIS offered 29 courses from 15 disciplines and received over 5,900 student registrations.

College in the Schools courses are currently sponsored by four University of Minnesota, Twin Cities colleges — the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, the College of Education and Human Development, and the Institute of Technology.
