Completion Requirements
You must complete 15 credits to earn your certificate, (not including prerequisite work). Completing this certificate program requires completion of the indicated courses with core courses requiring a grade of B and a cumulative GPA for all certificate course work of a 2.8 or better.

In order to receive your certificate, please follow these steps:

Visit the Graduate School Web site and review the information. Substitute the word “certificate” whenever you see “degree.” You will find the Application for Degree Form (this is the same form used for certificates) on this site. It must be completed on the first working day of your intended month of graduation.

The Graduate School will then review your Graduate School Post Baccalaureate Program (GSPBC) to see that all coursework has been completed and is recorded on the transcript.

The final GSPBC Final Report Form found in your graduation packet must be signed by the Director of Graduate Studies of your department.

The Policy Issues on Work and Pay Certificate Program has made agreements with the Industrial Relations Center at the Carlson School of Management, the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, and the Law School, which allow you to complete both a degree and certificate program. But, your program application must be completed before any course work can be applied towards a degree program.
