Direct Marketing - Undergraduate Level

Program Description

The Midwest Direct Marketing Association (MDMA) and the College of Continuing Education have teamed up to offer the only direct marketing certificate program of its kind in the state of Minnesota. By completing the Direct Marketing Certificate Program you'll gain the skills necessary to effectively target new customers, open doors for new business, and improve your direct marketing knowledge, skills, and current performance.

Using general marketing theory as its base, the program curriculum examines what integrated direct marketing is and what it can do for an organization. Through the course work, you will gain an understanding of prospect and consumer marketing as well as the specifics of business-to-business and business-to-consumer target marketing.

Program Features

An optional mentor program is available through the Midwest Direct Marketing Association (MDMA) for admitted certificate students. The mentor program provides an avenue for you to explore your areas of interest in direct marketing. The program will be administered by MDMA and will identify mentors who have expertise in specific areas. To participate, you simply complete an application form notifying the MDMA of your interest area, and MDMA will assign a mentor to you.   • Credit Transfer to an Undergraduate Degree: In most cases, previous college credit or certificate courses may be applied toward an undergraduate degree.
