Total Rewards Specialist Certificate
Total rewards include all of the tools that attract, motivate, and retain employees. These elements are both monetary and non-monetary, and are intended to reward employees’ time, talents, and efforts to help achieve business results. The Total Rewards Specialist Certificate offers business leaders, human resources professionals, and reward plan designers a framework for assessing the effectiveness of their existing plans, and a process for designing, implementing, and assessing the efficiency of new reward strategies.

- Human resource professionals who want to focus on their employee compensation and benefits skills as part of the total rewards concept and take their career to the next level
- Elective component of the Human Resource Mastery Certificate

To complete this certificate program, you will take one 12-hour course and three 6-hour courses listed below. The courses may be taken in any order, but must be completed within one year of your first course. Look for the TRC code which designates courses that apply to the Total Rewards Specialist Certificate program.

Certificate Enrollment Information Enroll in the Total Rewards Specialist Certificate program now or call us at 612-624-4000 to speak to an Information Center Learner Representative. There is a one-time $35 enrollment fee to enroll in the certificate program. Individuals enrolled in a certificate program are entitled to a $20 discount off course fees.
