 Essential Supervision Certificate
Supervisors oversee the productivity and progress of employees who report directly to them. In our Essential Supervision Certificate you will develop skills in building and managing diverse work groups, delegating, legal issues, interviewing and hiring, managing performance, mapping processes, influencing across your organization, and problem solving and decision making.

- Individual contributors moving into supervisory roles and those recently promoted to supervisory roles
- Supervisors who want to enhance their leadership skills and increase their effectiveness
- Required component of the Supervision Mastery Certificate

To complete this certificate program, you will take all courses listed below. We encourage you to begin with the Principles of Supervision course; however, courses may be taken in any order. Coursework must be completed within two years of your first course. Look for the ESC code which designates courses that apply to the Essential Supervision Certificate program.

Certificate Enrollment Information
Enroll in the Essential Supervision Certificate program now or call us at 612-624-4000 to speak to an Information Center Learner Representative. There is a one-time $35 enrollment fee to enroll in the certificate program. Individuals enrolled in a certificate program are entitled to a $20 discount off course fees.
NEW! Accelerated Certificate option now available
Accelerate the completion of your certificate. Register for all the courses in the Essential Supervision Certificate in one easy transaction and complete the certificate in four to seven months using the daytime or evening course option. In addition, you pay only $3,500 for this 60-hour certificate; a savings of $370. Select "View Courses/Register Now" from above, and select the accelerated registration option.
