Janet Pelto - CCE Career and Lifework Consultant

Janet is a licensed psychologist who holds an M.A. in educational psychology from the U of M - consistently ranked one of the top programs in the nation. Janet is an active member of Minnesota Women in Psychology and the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA), where she has served on the Board of Trustees and as President. In 2004, the MCDA awarded her the prestigious Marty Dockman Award for outstanding contributions to the field of career development.

A prior background in academic advising at the U has given Janet a unique advantage in helping clients sort through the incredible variety of educational options at the University. During her 16-year tenure as a career counselor at the College of Continuing Education, Janet has guided thousands of clients on the path to a fulfilling career.

Specializing in mid-career counseling, Janet has a reputation for asking the right questions to get her clients to think about things in a different light and uncover their true aspirations and capabilities.
